Ventus is an elite-tier student of Wellston. He is Meili's partner as well as a loyal member of the Hierarchy.

Appearance[]

Ventus has purple hair and scarlet eyes, which glow with a red light when his ability is activated. His speech bubbles are lilac.

Personality[]

Ventus despised John due to his low status like many students at Wellston. Like Meili, Ventus is also loyal to Arlo and has carried out various orders from the King without question.[1][2] However, Ventus has also displayed acts of loyalty to his allies as shown by his attempts to save Meili as well as his pleas to let him save her.[2] The ordeal likely changed his mind as he is more open to fixing low-tier problems now.

Season 1[]

Suspension[]

Ventus, along with Meili were tasked by Arlo to break John's phone. They follow through on this command, mildly injuring John in the process.[1]

Monster[]

When Arlo arrived at the Battlefield run some "errands" with John, Ventus and Meili were waiting there for him. Discretely, Arlo told the duo to lock him down, and while Meili scratched John with her claws, Ventus used his Whirlwind to knock him down.[3] Ventus then forced John into a bowing position while Arlo revealed that he orchestrated everything. When Arlo scoffed at the idea of being friends with such a nobody, Ventus seconded the sentiment and told John to learn his place already. When John snarled at Ventus butting in on the conversation, the latter hit the former out of spite. Arlo ordered him and Meili to keep at it until John learned his lesson. But before they could oblige, John roared Arlo's name and a tornado appeared out of nowhere. Ventus was shocked, and tried to counter the gale with his own cyclone. Only managing to fall back, the eilite tiers gazed dumbstruck as John stared down Arlo with pure hatred in his glowing eyes.[4]

UnOrdinary Ch55 8

Ventus and Meili perform a combo attack.

Ventus was shocked, having been under the impression that they were pitted against a cripple. But Arlo's calm expression assured him that the situation was under their control. That confidence didn't last long, as John grew claws not unlike Meili's. Those claws outclassed the original, so Ventus tried to protect his friend from further injury by blowing him away. John seized control of the winds, and used them to land harmlessly. While Ventus struggled to realize that this proved who conjured that earlier tornado, Meili reasoned that John was capable of copying their abilities. Now aware their opponent was dangerous, she still believed they could win if they worked together at full strength. Ventus used his Whirlwind to launch Meili towards John for a quick and decisive attack. John used an original attack to counter, which managed to hit Ventus. Meili was sent skyward, and when she began to fall back down the horrified Ventus tried to slow her descent with his ability. John stopped him by impaling his arm with his claws. Terrified, Ventus conceded victory to John and begged him to let him save his friend. Unmoved, John told him to shut up. When Ventus begged for Meili to be saved from this potentially fatal fall, John forced him to be silent by plunging claws into his shoulder.[2]

Arlo didn't fare much better against John, and the ambush ended in complete failure. After Elaine was called over to help heal them, Arlo brought the two of them back to the dorms.[5]

Capture[]

Both Ventus and Meili have recovered from their wounds from their encounter with John. Arlo assigned the two of them a new task to carry out alongside Elaine and Isen: find out where Seraphina had disappeared off to. Ventus was assigned to the Whesley Hall of Wellston, where he would ask students about Seraphina's location.[6] He managed to find a witness who saw Seraphina being taken by "two blondes, a pink, and a red head"[7] and relayed said information to Arlo not long after.[8]

Season 2[]

Safe House[]

Meili and Ventus agreed to help Blyke and Remi take down the false Jokers while on patrol.[9]

Tyrants[]

Both Meili and Ventus joined the Safe House. They attended on the first day[10], and covered Block 6 supervising duty alongside Isen.[11] It's unknown if they stuck around following John's repeated attacks on club members.

Powers & Abilities[]

Whirlwind: Ventus's ability grants him the ability to generate spinning funnels of wind from his hands and use them to send opponents flying.

Relationships[]

Meili: Ventus is often seen partnered up with Meili, and is a close friend of hers as well. This is best exemplified by his desperate bid to save her during their fight against John.[2] Normally, the two of them are capable of synergizing their abilities to effective degrees, as Elaine recalled "Even at Wellston, only a few can take on this duo."[5]

Arlo: Ventus respects Arlo, and is one of his main enforcers alongside Meili. On Arlo's order, he broke John's phone and ambushed him in the turf war arena.
