The UnOrdinary Wikia uses a pretty common article layout for character pages, episode pages etc.
Headings should have the first letter of every word capitalised, except for prepositions (i.e. "of" or "in"). These headings should appear in this order if they are needed in an article:
Characters[]
For characters, the following headings (and sub-headings) should be used in this order if needed:
- {{Character}} with relevant fields filled in
- Appearance
- Personality
- History†
- Plot
- Powers & Abilities
- Quotes†
- Notes & Trivia†
- Image Gallery†
- References
- Navigation
The History section should be filled with information regarding character's past; any event that occurred before the Prologue would fall under the history section. If no history for the character is known, then the History heading does not need to be added. The Notes & Trivia section should be filled with little bites of info that relates to the character but may not appear directly in the series.
An Image Gallery Sub heading can be added if and when images are available.
Chapters[]
Chapter pages are structured quite similarly.
The following headings should be used in this order:
- {{Chapter}} with relevant fields completed
- Summary
- Appearing Characters
- Appearing Abilities†
- Gallery†
- Notes & Trivia†
- References†
- Navigation
For the Appearing Characters and Appearing Abilities sections, the {{Appearances}} template should be used. For each appearing character/ability in the chapter, use the following {{Char}} template.
{{Char|<image.file>|<Name>}}
A Gallery heading can be added if and when images are available. Also Notes & Trivia and References headings can be added to chapter pages if relevant.
Abilities[]
Abilities pages should use headings in the order below.
- {{Abilities}} with the relevant fields filled in.
- Description
- Usage†
- Strengths and Limitations
- Gallery
- Notes and Trivia
- References
- Navigation
Usage sections should list the various ways the ability can be used. If the ability only has one use, then the Usage section can be omitted.
Image Captions[]
Captions on the UnOrdinary Wikia are allowed to be more comical in nature, akin to those found on tfwiki.net. That being said, there are still some rules the caption has to follow.
- Captions can be used to describe the image literally in a informative manner.
- Comical Captions must some how be related to the subject matter, some examples include:
- References, such as the various Frozen references found in John's personality section due to the similarity of John and Elsa hiding their powers from the world.
- Fandom in-jokes such as Aura Manipulation and Conjure: Vines's delayed naming (see their respective pages for details).
- Slurs, racist jokes, and 18+ jokes are not allowed and will guarantee a penalty.
- Any swear words used must be censored in the same manner as the webtoon itself.
