StarLight Restaurant is a fancy eating establishment. It's a great place to spend a romantic evening, provided you don't talk to your date about work.

Darren waiting for Leilah inside the restaurant
After Leilah returned from her business trip, she and Darren decided to have their date night at the StarLight Restaurant. Darren was looking over the menu as he waited for Leilah. When she arrived, the two embraced before sitting down at their table. As they were waiting for their food, Leilah tried to get her dour-looking boyfriend to smile more. His attempt left much to be desired. Their waiter arrived with their meals, and became enamored with the beautiful and friendly Leilah. A dirty glare from a jealous Darren drove him away in a hurry.

As they ate, they discussed their careers. Darren was hoping he could score a position at ZetaSci, and put his miserable job at Wellston behind him. Leilah was worried that the students would lose a valuable caretaker. Darren wasn't keen on remaining the school nurse for their sake. Their discussion soon led to John, and his recent acts of violence against the other students. Darren told Leilah that John's actions were motivated by the abuse his friend was suffering. Darren added that the girl was being attacked because she was injected with a drug that disabled her ability, admitting that he was ashamed of his failure to reverse the effects. He asked if ZetaSci's ability research department might be able to help her. Leilah agreed to have her team look over Darren's notes, and asked for the student's name. A grateful Darren told her it was Seraphina, which caught Leilah off guard. She spilled her wine on her sweater, and left to clean it up.
Even the romantic setting of StarLight wasn't enough to salvage the date after that, as Leilah would be worried for her sister.[1]
