Synopsis[]
At Woaba Boba, John and Seraphina sit down to a refreshing treat of tapioca goodness. John sees that his new friend has something on her mind, and asks why she keeps twirling her purple hair. She admits that she's never felt like it's her style, and she's contemplating getting a new 'do. John is intrigued, but Seraphina's concern about other students criticizing the change doesn't sit well with him. Boldly, he urges Seraphina not to let others stop her from doing anything that will bring her joy. His encouragement makes her smile, but she turns down his offer to share his..."styling ideas."
Seraphina sits in her dorm later, perusing some magazines for inspiration. The models looked so rebellious, yet refined. It wows Seraphina like nothing has before.
Shortly afterwards, Seraphina goes to Starlight Salon. Her designated stylist sits her down and asks if she is looking for a trim or a dye job. Seraphina confidently answers she wants both, and is invited to detail her vision.
In the middle of a workout, John gets a call from Seraphina. She invites him to go shopping, which he accepts. He runs over to their meeting place. He's stunned at the sight of his friend. Her hair is shorter, and now features some bright yellow highlights. It compliments her beaming face quite nicely. Both look forward to the days ahead.
