Plot[]
Uprising[]
Scarlette is first seen by Adrion with Cameron investigating William’s apartment.[2] Scarlette uses her ability to figure out what might have happened to William; concentrating, she shushes Cameron when he asks her why she’s taking long, telling him that he’s distracting her and to go wait in the other room. As Cameron is investigating William’s room, to her shock, Scarlette sees in her vision that William was killed by two people who stopped by his place last week, which she quickly reports to Cameron, much to his shock as well. Cameron notes how well they covered their tracks, given how long it took Scarlette to find out what happened; she expresses her agreement and how fortunate she was to have been able to tap into William’s lingering energy. She then tracks down where his body was hidden as asked by Cameron. She leads Cameron to a secluded area which is where William was buried in. Cameron then uses one of his copied abilities to lift the dirt; Scarlette comments how useful the set of abilities Cameron prepared is, and Cameron notes that he had a feeling something like this would happen. He eventually reveals William’s body, commenting how “disturbing” the sight is. Scarlette offers taking care of the rest to Cameron, adding that she’s used to dealing with the dead, but Cameron refuses, saying that he will handle it as it’s the least he can do after he denied William help, expressing his regret. Scarlette then expresses her pity towards powerless individuals, saying that they often meet their ends sooner than others. Cameron then asks her to track John down, showing her a picture and asking her to help him find “the boy in this picture”. It’s implied that she was able to, as Cameron can be seen the next day in Wellston Private High School to deliver the news to John. [1]

Quotes[]
