Seraphina plans to hand Orrin to the Authorities to regain her freedom. In order to do that, they need to figure out his hideout. Due to an ability placed on Kayden, he is unable to be of any help. Fortunately, John comes in clutch. They leave the rest to Arlo, who investigates the place with Kassandra.
After dealing with some minor inconveniences, Arlo and Kassandra reach the control room. Unfortunately, a figure from Arlo's past shows up and threatens to jeopardize their mission.
Unable to put up any meaningful resistance, Kassandra tries to offer Rein her old life back. It's enticing enough for Rein to offer aid, even if it means Arlo benefits. But there won't be any calls for reinforcements if Orrin has anything to say about it...
Overwhelmed by the Spectre agents (one of them being an ally mind-controlled by Orrin), Kassandra contacts the Authorities. Will they manage to reach the duo in time? Or will Arlo and Kassandra perish before then?
The cavalry, led by Valerie, finally arrive to arrest Spectre. Unfortunately, Orrin and his twolieutenants managed to escape. But not everything is doom and gloom, as Arlo and Kassandra achieve the promotion they ever wanted.
News of Arlo's promotion spreads to his peers, with John and Seraphina rejoicing. Not everyone is happy for him, as a certain enforcer and a betrayed Rein could attest to it.
During a vigilante outing, the Wellston Royals and Kuyo encounter a fellow hero being cornered by criminals. They freed him, and as a show of gratitude, he ask to join the group. Elsewhere, William bids his au revoir to Adrion, unknowingly foreshadows his fate...
On his way home, William reminisces about his first date with Jane. She said his words were able to move her - a God-tier who was jaded of the worst her ability brought out of her - and wanted him to continue spreading his words. Her letter brings him the closure he needed to keep fighting for their sake. But government agentsensure it only remains as an idea.
The circulation of Untitled, the online version of Unordinary, causes John to contact William. His inability to reach out to his father worries him, which alerted the Royals trio. He tells them of his connection to the author and tasks Adrion to find out the whereabouts of his old man. Elsewhere, Valerie has a plan for Seraphina.
John relays to Seraphina her upcoming rendezvous with Authorities. Sensing his bad mood, she promises him a plan for them to spend entire week with William once she fully free. Meanwhile, Darren's magic tonic doesn't work on him, to the Doc's chagrin.
Grayson reconvenes with the Wellston Royals and convince them in accepting his assistance, while also trying (and failing) to woo Remi. Back at Doc's apartment, his refined cure works its charm on Seraphina.
Now with her ability back, Seraphina arrives at the meeting full of confidence. She rejects Valerie's offer of serving for Authorities in exchange for her immunity. Apparently, Valerie doesn't take no for an answer.
Seraphina showcases her returning ability against an entire squad of Authorities. She manages to overwhelm Valerie, but a momentary lapse in focus allows the woman to trap her inside the Barrier. Leilah bails her sister and skedaddles out of there together.
