Otis is a student at Wellston Private High School and a direct subordinate of Cecile.
Appearance[]
Otis is a student with pale lavender-blue hair. His hair covers up his golden left eye.
His speech bubbles are the same color as his hair.
Personality[]
Otis appears to be very loyal to Cecile. He is willing to visit her at the infirmary after her brutal fight against Joker. Otis seems to share some of the elitist views of looking down on the weak since he appears annoyed that a cripple (John) stumbled upon Cecile while she's recovering in the infirmary. In contrast to this negative trait, there are limits to the mistreatment of lower-tiers that Otis can stomach, and he isn't willing to support savages. He was hoping that Joker's plans, whatever they were, ended in failure at the hands of the school's strongest Royals.
Plot[]
Capture[]
One day, Otis was told by Cecile to learn what Arlo was up to. He managed to gather that the King had organized a search party to locate Seraphina, who had been missing since the day before. He reported his findings to Cecile.[1]
Joker[]
Days later, Otis walked by a crowded window and pushed his way to the front. He got a view of the battle between the notorious Joker and Cecile, with the latter taking a blow that clearly decided the battle. Even so, Joker cast several more vines to skewer her. After she fell over, unconscious, Joker turned to Otis and the other onlookers, and made them recoil in horror with a throat slitting gesture. Otis couldn't believe his eyes.
After this, Otis visited Cecile at the infirmary. He had to wait for her to regain consciousness before asking how she was doing. When she did, she was terribly sore. He expressed disgust over Joker's actions, wondering if he intended for Cecile to go to the hospital. He then pleaded for Cecile to come up with a solution of ending the masked student's reign of terror. But Cecile firmly declined, pointing out that somebody who was outclassed couldn't possibly do anything to stop him. Joker was now a problem for Arlo and Remi to deal with.
Their discourse was interrupted with the sudden appearance of John, the weakest student in school. He timidly said this was a mistake and then left. Otis commented that the guy was a stupid airhead, who ought to have learned long ago not to recklessly intrude on the personal space of his superiors. Taking the invasion of privacy remarkably well, Cecile politely asked Otis to leave, which he did.[2]
