Newside is a low-tier district in the world of UnOrdinary. At some point it was taken over by the criminal Lance.
History[]
Newside has always been a self-governed city, without the help of Authorities, just like Branish. At some point Lance saw an opportunity and take over the city along with his goons. During this time, he destroyed and vandalized a certain amount of property.
Plot[]
After seeing a listed criminal (Lance) on his laptop,[1] Blyke eventually succumbs to the temptation to become stronger and decides to head to the town.[2]
Blyke first sees Lance trying to force a woman to call the administration and surrender the town to him. After threatening the lady, Blyke shoots Lance and engages in battle with his goons.[3] After taking down each goon one-by-one, Blyke is nearly taken aback by Lance's Tremor. Luckily, Blyke used a new technique and defeated the rest of the goons before taking down Lance himself. Blyke then shoots Lance in the legs, which allowed him to live but not roam free. Blyke went to ascertain the condition of Amara, the woman Lance was threatening. She assumed he had just fought to seize control away Lance, and demanded he stay away. Blyke tried to assure that he just came to stomp criminals and get stronger, though it's unlikely he persuaded her. Blyke changed into his street clothes in an alleyway before he left town. What he didn't notice is a mysterious man witnessing the entire fight.[4]
