Liam is an assassin working for Spectre under the leadership of Orrin. He is currently John's archenemy.

Appearance[]

Liam has short and spiky green hair along with green eyes. In his casual outfit, he wears a gray T-shirt.

Personality[]

Liam is shown to be a ruthless assassin who takes no hesitation in killing anyone, including his own allies under Orrin's orders. While he will offer interferers a chance to leave, he will kill them for trying to face up against him. He knows when he is outmatched however, and will utilize his liquid form to flee a battle.

Plot[]

Escalation[]

Under Orrin's orders, he appears onto the roof of Lovun Prison alongside his partner, Candice with him going through the sewer system to kill Terrence to prevent him from leaking out information. [1] [2]

He is later ordered by Orrin to kill Seraphina. When he spots her, he tries to kill her but then ends up fighting the crippled John for interfering. John is mysteriously able to read his ability somehow and manages to fight back. Suddenly, then, Kayden and Kuyo interfere.[3] Kayden teleports the two teens away while Kuyo fights him. Unable to take him on, the assassin liquidates and retreats. [4]

Orrin explains to him and Candice about the Conversion Technology obtained during one of their missions. The two end up taking the ability from Melvin, a high-tier who Orrin kidnapped and killed. [5]

Division[]

During Seraphina's and John's ability recovery session, he was tasked to keep watch on the two disabled high-tiers by Orrin. Liam then left first to investigate the first floor due to a suspected breach, leaving the supervision to the trusty hands of his partner. [6]

Luckily for Orrin, his suspicions would be confirmed as Seraphina and John tried to steal the recovery machine with the aid of Kayden. Liam arrived just in time to see his partner bleeding on the floor with the source of the breach and the disabled high-tiers awaken. He then fought John with his ability initially, but then decided to use Melvin's ability to restrict John from teleporting eventually succeeding in restraining him. Unfortunately, Kayden who was sick of being a bystander decided to interfere with the use of exposed wire to shock Liam into letting John go. [7]

After sorting himself out from the shock of his life, he was helpless in stopping John who was enraged by his failure of his mission who then decided to destroy the recovery machine. While it has not been confirmed if he was reliant on it, he was still upset and enraged by John's defiance and attempted to attack John before he left. [8]

Rebellion[]

Some time later, Liam and Candice were tasked to nullify the two guests from Authorities. He threw some ice blocks towards the blonde, who defended against them with ease. He and Candice were surprised to see Rein, the new recruit, trying to help the intruders escape. When Candice confronted her treachery, Rein retorted she never wanted to be hired in the first place. After airing her grievances against their organization, Rein attacked the two. However, before the attack landed on them, it suddenly stopped. Rein suffered a painful headache before eventually taken over by Orrin.[9]

In the middle of their fight, Kassandra tried to reach out to Liam and Candice. She tried to persuade them to ditch their boss and leave their old life behind. Her persuasion fell on deaf ears, with Orrin pointing out that her offer was familiar to the duo. Soon, the fight continues, with Arlo and Kassandra being put on the back foot. When the redhead attempted to punch their aggressors, Liam effortlessly erected an ice barrier to shield the agents. His boss managed to capture the rats, and gloated about their imminent defeat. Unfortunately, the dampener expired at the convenient time, allowing Arlo and Kassandra to thwart Orrin-controlled Rein. Candice, backed by Liam, retaliated against the officers. Their efforts fell short, but their reinforcement's arrival gave the two temporary relief. But the Authorities broke through shortly after.[10]

The agents valiantly fought back, but the difference in power were too obvious. After seeing three of the agents neutralized, Liam and Candice hightailed it out of the facility, with Orrin abandoned his grasp on Rein as well as escaping himself.[11]
