Grasshill is one of the towns in UnOrdinary.
Plot[]
History[]
At some point, this town came under siege by two amped up criminals known as Lennon and Raddix. Unlike some of the other towns that surrendered to amplifier users, the people here formed a Resistance made up of their most willing and able residents while the rest remained relatively safe indoors. The criminals' constant attacks put several members out of commission.
Safe House[]
Blyke selected Lennon as his next target and learned of his criminal activities in Grasshill.[1]
Vigilante 3[]
When Blyke arrived in town the streets were empty. As he searched for Lennon, he ran into a young boy, Brennet. This led to an awkward exchange where Blyke blew his cover when attempting to ask where Lennon is. In turn, Brennet asked if Blyke could lead him to his dad. But Brennet's mother appeared and dragged her protesting son home.
Blyke eventually located Lennon in a standoff against the Protectors. After much hesitation, Blyke decided to aid the crumbling resistance. Before falling back, they warned him about Lennon's backup.[2]
Just as Blyke is about to die, he is saved by a vigilante. The vigilante (nicknamed Ponytail) took over fighting Lennon and sent Blyke to deal with Raddix.[3] The combined efforts of both vigilantes result in a successful mission. Blyke and Ponytail uncovered the Ability Amplifiers Lennon had on him (Blyke secretly held on to the ones Raddix was holding).[4] Blyke was offered the opportunity to learn how to become a better vigilante, but he turned down Ponytail's offer. Deciding he had enough of the superhero life, he wished Ponytail good fortune and left Grasshill.[5]
Tyrants[]
The battle between Lennon and Blyke was later shown on the news. One of the interviewees was the resistance leader who reports what Blyke looked like and that he is likely a high school student. It was thanks to his misunderstanding that Blyke was dubbed "Nobody" by the media.[6]
