Dylan is a student at Wellston and a member of the Safe House.
Appearance[]
He is a short student with neatly combed golden-blonde hair and pecan eyes. He is seen wearing the typical Wellston uniform.
Personality[]
As one of Wellston's weaker students, Dylan is likely bullied often. He is understandably shy, cowardly and not good at hiding it (as shown in his game of Poker, when he's nervous, he fiddles with his tie.) He is also a cheerful and kind student who is willing to help people. He looks up to the high tiers, including John after being saved by him. Although cowardly, he is brave and selfless risking his own life to save others from Spectre.
Season 2[]
Discord[]
Dylan was first seen along with another Safe House member getting picked on by Zeke and Mardin. Dylan demanded to be left alone, which Mardin was all for in case Safe House's high-rankers found out. Zeke was not as concerned, and chose to indulge in this now rare opportunity to have his way with unprotected club members. Dylan soon found himself being held up by the collar, and being asked what made him worth helping. His companion had some choice words for Zeke, and he got beaten for it. Dylan would have been seriously injured next, were it not for an improbable lucky break. John, who recently stepped down as King and joined Safe House, appeared out of nowhere. He told Zeke to release his victim. Zeke didn't get anywhere trying to get John on his side, and was forced to comply. He let go of the dangling Dylan, who promptly fell hard on his butt. The two bullies left, but the low-tiers weren't exactly comforted in the presence of John. Thankfully, it seemed that the ex-King had no interest in overstaying his welcome this time around. As he walked away, a dumbfounded Dylan gave a small shout of thanks for the save.[1]
Later, Dylan is playing New Texis Hold'em other Safe House students. They noticed John was in the room, and a certain memory about him liking poker was brought up. Too shy to even make eye contact, Dylan sent Evie to invite him to join the next game. Too late he realized that it may have been a mistake to do so. John was just as ruthless at the poker table as he was in any fight. After watching him win hand-after-hand, Evie folded. She doubted Dylan's claims that she could have gotten away with bluffing John out, as nobody managed to since he joined. Dylan decided to risk everything and went all in, despite being nervous about his chances. For a moment, it looked like John would call his bluff. But to everybody's surprise, he folded, resulting in Dylan's victory. Dylan was a little euphoric at everybody's praise for his accomplishment, but then nervously realized that it meant that John suffered defeat. To his relief, John also offered congratulations for his victory. Dylan personally invited John to partake in another round.[2]
A few days later, during the vote on whether John would be permitted to join the club for the trip in Rowden, Dylan shot up his hand in favor of the motion. But it was Arlo's yay that got everybody's attention. Ultimately, the outcome was not in their favor. So Dylan and the others departed on Saturday morning, leaving John behind.[3]
Infiltration[]
The group arrived at the resort without incident, and they settled in for the night.[4] The very next morning they all set off for their first stop: Rowden Park! Before Dylan set off on his own, everybody was instructed to call a club founder should they run into trouble.[5] And eventually, Dylan did. A group of four tough teenagers started attacking everybody in the park plaza, and they soon stepped up to wiping the floor with the security team sent to evict them. After calling Blyke for help, Dylan went around doing his best to tend to the injured personnel. He was scared, but eventually rescue appeared. Blyke had arrived at the scene along with...J-John?! The King stepped in as soon as Dylan got him up to speed. Blyke was not scared of their mocking threats, and accepted a challenge to fight for the right to stay in the park.[6] The gang he was up against turned out to be royals themselves. Blyke fought against the opposing King, and won an impressive victory. But then the Queen and Jack ganged up on him, while the healer worked to get them all healthy. Dylan bore witness as Blyke braved a 1-against-4 battle, while John shouted advice. The royals then targeted John, who didn't retaliate immediately for some reason. Blyke got hurt getting him out the crossfire. This selfless act seemed to spur John into action, and he healed Blyke with one of the abilities he copied.[7]
As Dylan rushed over to check on Blyke, John swiftly turned the tables on the unsuspecting Royals. When Ezra the Jack asked who the challengers were, Dylan proudly responded that they were Wellston's two Kings. As Blyke pulled his outspoken fan out of harm's way, Ezra laughed that Wellston was in such a state as to have two Kings. John promptly made him and his pals regret it. Dylan watched as John cut each of them down, being especially ruthless to Healer Myles. In all honesty, it was even scarier than when the whole mess started. But thanks to the timely arrival of Wellston's other elites, John was persuaded to formally accept his victory before he could go full Joker. [8]
As the two Kings were being temporarily detained by park security, word got around that John had disregarded the vote and followed Safe House to Rowden. None of the other members were keen on him sticking around, but Arlo and Seraphina told them that they were better off keeping him close after he used his strength to help rather than harm them. That night during dinner, Dylan told everybody how it all went down. It was clear from his play-by-play that he was glad to have seen it firsthand, despite things getting pretty hairy towards the end.[9]

Trivia[]
- Dylan bears a striking similarity to Adrion.
- In Episode 284, John asks Dylan to show him how he punches. Dylan punches the wrong way with his thumb tucked in. However in Episode 268, when Dylan asks John if he could show him a few pointers, he's clearly seen punching the right way with his thumb on the outside of his fist.
- His hairstyle is quite similar to John's when he was posing as a cripple.
