UnOrdinary Wikia

So shouldn't we all help each other to protect our own?

- Grayson makes his case.

This is the 322nd episode of unORDINARY.

Synopsis[]

In her office at the Bureau, Valerie contemplates her upcoming meeting with Seraphina, realizing there’s more to her than she seems, recalling that Seraphina has agreed to meet in person on the conditions that the meeting be in a public location and that Arlo be present. Valerie muses that Seraphina is quite the negotiator for her age and that she strongly distrusts the Authorities, which will make her difficult to deal with.

At Hilford Park, Blyke and Isen observe Grayson from a distance as Remi approaches the rookie vigilante. Blyke and Isen notice an odd reaction to meeting her, and are angered when he moves to kiss her hand, which Remi pulls away from. Remi tells Grayson that there are safer ways to help people than by becoming a vigilante, and that it’s too dangerous for someone like him. Blyke and Isen then approach, preferring to keep a closer eye on Grayson. However, Grayson recognizes Blyke, having heard of his Turf Wars defeat at the hands of Rein, and then realizes that Remi is Wellston’s Lightning Queen. Trying to get Grayson to focus, Isen tells him that he’s too weak and will get himself killed as a vigilante, and Blyke explains that one wrong move is the difference between life and death, and that Grayson isn’t strong enough to defend himself.

Determined to contribute in some way, Grayson says that his family is extremely wealthy, and that he can act as a sponsor to offer them improved gear & disguises and other resources. Having realized that he’s not the only new vigilante out there in the aftermath of Untitled’s release, and that the others are also liable to put themselves in danger or get themselves killed by EMBER, Grayson proclaims that they should try to help other vigilantes when possible, and that if the Authorities can’t take down EMBER, they might be able to. Considering Grayson’s argument, Remi pulls Blyke and Isen aside and admits that by keeping newer vigilantes safe, they could overwhelm EMBER. Blyke agrees, noting that there can’t be many more than the 5 EMBER agents identified by Kuyo, and Isen admits that their disguises need upgrading. Grayson enthusiastically asks if he’s in.

That evening at Darren’s apartment, Seraphina drinks the newest version of the cure, which Darren has modified to increase its potency. Later on, Seraphina browses the internet and finds that Untitled is spreading rapidly and that despite the media not broadcasting the recent vigilante surge, people are acting on their own, even having created a website to posting vigilante sightings which is getting more posts by the day. However, she notes that these new vigilantes need to cover their tracks better, as if EMBER identifies them, they’ll be done for. Suddenly, Sera’s heart begins pounding, and she falls out of her chair, alerting Darren and Leilah. Lying on the floor, Seraphina hyperventilates as her eyes begin glowing.
