- Seraphina's solution to the Orrin problem

This is the 311th episode of unORDINARY and the first episode of the Rebellion Arc.

Synopsis[]

Leilah and Kayden are reading an article about the press conference from the Head of Bureau. They complain about Orrin tarnishing the reputation of their organization through the actions of his faction. Seraphina suggests they apprehend the culprit by pitting him against the Authorities, hoping that he somewhat saves them too in the process. She then tells her sister to warn other executives of him.

But first, they need to figure out where Orrin is hiding. Seraphina asks Leilah about her office address. But her sister points out it was just a front since Orrin already taken measures to keep his anonymity. Seraphina then questions her about the conference room, the one Kayden always brings them to for their correspondence with the executives. However, he looks somewhat tranced. Leilah calls his attention, and he snaps out of it. John manages to detect another user's aura from his eyes. When Leilah asks Kayden about his initiation into Spectre, he admits Orrin specifically told him to not leak the location of his place. And then, he blanks. They figure Orrin was capable of taking control of someone's mind as well as erasing it.

Seraphina switches gear, requests a map from Darren. She tasks Kayden with pointing the estimate location of the facility. However, he again seems troubled. John interjects, gesturing to the exact spot by relying on his experience in using Teleportation when escaping from the combined attack of the agents. He deduces correctly by calculating the distance and direction from that place to Darren's apartment. Seraphina thanks him for his invaluable input.

At the Bureau of Authority, Arlo thinks back about the assignment John gave him and wonders what scheme Seraphina is cooking this time. After some mulling, he decides to bring it up privately to Kassandra. She questions what he has on his mind, and why he didn't ask his aunt instead. Arlo inquires her on the possibility of immunity for someone involved with Spectre. Kassandra says it depends on the severity of their crime. Arlo responds by stating that his source tipped him to the location of Spectre. Kassandra is curious why he believes in this person, to which he answers that he trusts this person. She then tells him to suit up for some "field trip".

Out in public, Arlo ponders about finding the hideout amongst the buildings. Kassandra assures him not to worry as she about to show one of her ability's specialties.
