I have to leave Wellston.
- Seraphina
This is the 298th episode of unORDINARY.
Synopsis[]
The chapter starts with Arlo warning Seraphina to go far away from Wellston. Intrigued, Sera asked why and Arlo reveals the confidential information he gathered while working for the Authorities, namely, planning to arrest Sera by the next day. Sera asked why he's doing this and responds by telling her what happened to Terrence, who was killed in his cell. This prompts her to leave the city. Sera thanks Arlo at the end of the conversation as Arlo just continuously walks away.
Meanwhile, John texts Sera while waiting for her to come back to their combat classes, looking distressed. This lasted until the session ended and students wave goodbye to John on their way out, one in particular thanking him for it. His phone beeps, Sera finally responds! Her reply says she's back in her room.
Elaine answers the series of knocks on her dorm room door, opening it. John barges in, asks her where Sera is. She leads him to where she is and knocks on Sera's door, entering as she says to come in. He wonders why she never returned to the class, only for her to silence him. She urges him to keep this a secret from Elaine.
Confused on why Sera is packing her bags, John asks her what she and Arlo were talking about. She explains the conversation that happened earlier, saying she plans to stay with Leilah until things cooled down. He questions whether she comes back, only to be crushed when she tells him that she'll possibly never return. Shocked and dreadful, John wants to join Sera in leaving, but she turns him down, refusing to drag him deeper into the mess. He insists, but she rejects him again, as they only have less than a week before their abilities expire. When that happens, the last thing she wants is for both of them to be captured. She promises to keep in contact with him, which leads him to pull her into an emotional, parting embrace. Despite John's refusal to let Sera go, he reluctantly accepts her imminent departure, which she apologizes for.
Elaine exits her room with a cup of orange juice and sees Sera leaving with a bag, accompanied by John. Intrigued, she wanted to know where they're going. Eventually, she decides that it's likely for the better for her to remain oblivious to it.
Heading to William's home, he come back from the disaster conversation that happened in Cameron's home and sees a parcel. Opening it, he reads the letter that Simon wrote revealing that he was able to meet Jane. Jane couldn't talk at that time so Simon prompted her to write a letter instead. This chapter ends in a cliffhanger with William holding the letter that Jane wrote.
