Good luck with your interview.

Synopsis[]
At her sister's office, Seraphina addresses her allies, which now includes The Doc. With her and John disabled, it was imperative that they get their hands on the recovery machine. But her defiance in Rowden meant that Spectre wasn't about to let them use the device, let alone allow them to take possession of it. Finding a way around this restriction was the only way to ensure their survival against future attempts on their lives. Their one ray of hope for this was that Leilah managed to convince the executives to agree to a meeting with Seraphina. If things didn't go perfectly, the two friends may never again regain control of their destinies.
The small band of rebels go about fine-tuning the details of their big plan. In-between strategizing, John approaches Darren and asks for a moment of his time. He shares the miraculous occurrences in which he managed to activate his ability in spite of The Disabler. It was far from his old strength, but it's more he'd expended in days than Seraphina had in months post-disabling. Darren is intrigued, and asks for a blood sample from John in order to put some theories to the test. John agrees, and the side project goes underway.
Later at his dorm, John tries dressing up appropriately for the upcoming meeting. His choice of his school uniform is rejected by Seraphina, but it's the nicest outfit he has. So she's forced to look elsewhere. In the adjacent room, her approach is heard by the eavesdropping Isen. He makes a dive for the bed before she opens the door. When Seraphina enters asking Blyke if he has a suit John can borrow, she catches sight of Isen prostrating while holding a trig textbook upside-down. Blyke asks what the occasion is, and Seraphina claims it's for an interview. The pair pretend to buy this excuse. Fortunately for John, he and Blyke wear similar sizes. From outside Blyke's room, Seraphina calls for John to hurry up. He opens the door and all three boys are disarmed by the sight of the Seraphina in a power suit. She thanks Blyke for loaning the suit as she makes a last-minute adjustment to the tie. Blyke simply asks that it be returned to him, because it wasn't cheap. Isen wishes them the best for the "interview" as they head out. He and Blyke then follow them to find out what they're really up to.
John and Seraphina meet up with Kayden in the park, completely unaware of the pair tailing them. As Isen and Blyke wonder who the stranger is, their spying is cut short when they see the trio disappear. Isen resigns that a teleporter would be impossible to track down, but he managed to overhear that his name was Kayden. John and Seraphina working with a possible agent of Spectre is very alarming news to Blyke. The two agree to pass this intel along to Kuyo.
At their destination, John marvels at the scale of the base. Seraphina informs him that the most impressive (and disturbing) part is that the whole location is a dead zone, and there's no finding out where they are. John notes that it must help the executives remain anonymous. Seraphina states that the bosses would be calling any moment now, and reminds John to keep a level head for the duration of their visit. The big three soon show up on display, and Orrin himself greets the unexpected visitor.
