Synopsis[]
Kassandra finally meets Vaughn at his office. However, she's not here to exchange pleasantries with him. It's straight to business. She points out that Wellston is on its lowest approval rating due to complaints from parents and students. Vaughn argues that the school has kept its reputation and produced most of the powerful people. Kassandra then brings up the neglect of school's politics, resistance towards authorities, Unordinary being read by his top two students, and vigilantism committed by his other students, but the headmaster calmly answers them accordingly. Kassandra ends the meeting by threatening to impeach him once this is all over.
Meanwhile, John and Seraphina walk along the hallway, with other students shown still in fear of the former King. Sensing her best friend being distracted by the whispers, she suggests he bonds with other Safe House members and drags him there. They decide to play Unopoly with Isen, Evie and Dylan. However, Seraphina leaves in the middle of her turn. She tries to contact Kayden to no avail.
At Wellston University, Kayden asks Kuyo about his plans for the upcoming exam when Seraphina shows up, surprising them. Suspicious, Kuyo wonders who is she. Kayden tells him Seraphina is his "cousin". He then pulls her aside and asks what her business is. Seraphina demands to be taken to her sister, not caring that they aren't allowed to talk. He teleports her to Leilah's office, interrupting her own meeting with Darren.
