Sorry, but I can't get over your bullsh*t that easily!

- Blyke

This is the 249th episode of unORDINARY.

Synopsis

Seraphina stands alone in a bathroom, trying to figure out where to go from here. Spectre found out about her plan, and she wasn't sure she could sneak another one by them. And what's with John and Terrence telling her that she ought to lighten up in an amusement park? Perhaps they both had the same point to make: she was just going to exhaust herself mentally fretting over every detail. She had to be at her peak in order to stay in Spectre's good graces and accomplish her goals. But better safe than sorry.

John receives a call from Seraphina. She asks for his current location, and he warily says he's at Wellston like he's supposed to be. Seraphina tells him to drop the act, for his presence was known by all the wrong people. With no need to worry about secrecy anymore, she instructs him to just join the group. He could protect them, and he'd benefit from not having to look over his own shoulder as well. Seraphina signs off saying that she would catch up with them as soon as she's able. John is at a loss on how he's supposed to follow these instructions.

While the others talk about what to do next, Arlo gets another a text from John about him joining them. Blyke and co. catch sight of John's approach, and Arlo sighs and goes to have a private word with him. He asks why John is going offscript, and learns that Spectre knows about their wild card. John tells him to talk the others into allowing him to tag along, a daunting task to be sure. The moment John gets close enough, Remi asks why he's still around when they heard he had left. John claims that he may as well have some fun at the park before he took a three-hour trip. He "off-handedly" suggests that they should hang out together. Blyke firmly opposes the idea, and feels no need to be calm about it. John tries to get Blyke to come around, but gets the past thrown in his face. Blyke reminds him that he tried many times to get on John's good side as a Royal and as his roommate. But his efforts at befriending him got him nothing but pain and suffering. While the others may be willing to bear with him despite everything, Blyke had no intention of going out of his way anymore. John was free to go where he pleased, but so did anybody else. WIth that, Blyke storms off. Remi tries to call him back, but John actually runs after him. She tries to stop him, but Arlo holds her back. She tells him that they can't let them start anything in public. Arlo tells her that they're better off letting them sort this out on their own. Remi warns him that the park may not survive the process. Isen chooses to stay out of things altogether.

John catches up with Blyke, who is incredulous at such efforts. John tells him that just agreeing to hate each other wasn't going to resolve anything. He also admits that Safe House wasn't a terrible idea, and that he was lashing out because he couldn't accept that the Royals weren't the monsters he thought they were. John tells him that he's decided that he wanted to start over with Blyke and his friends. Before he can get an answer Blyke's phone rings. When he answers, he gets news that alarms him. He gets the caller's location and rushes over, attempting to ditch his roommate. John is forced to go after him, for both their sakes.

Dylan, who had been the one who called, does his best to be helpful at the site of a big conflict. Four teenagers are in the middle of thrashing the park's security guards. They respond to the attempt at getting them under control with mockery. Dylan is relieved when he sees Blyke approaching, and shocked when he sees John at his heels. Blyke faces of against the quartet, and asks for the story. Dylan explains that the teenagers just started attacking everybody, and are resisting all attempts to escort them out. Blyke learns that these punks have no shame in what they've done. John keeps quiet, but notes that these four are just dime-a-dozen elitists on a power trip. Blyke tells them all that they'll be ejected from the park by their next opponent: himself.
