Go ahead and report me to your "King" then. And while you're at it, tell him to go f*ck himself!

- Blyke being savage

This is the 194th chapter of unORDINARY.

Plot[]

Seraphina prepares to get started on her daily workout when Blyke calls out to her. She asks why he's carrying more fliers when they already put them up everywhere. Blyke explains that they're to replace the ones someone has been taking down. He had been doing so during his free blocks, and was just about to get right back to it. Seraphina decides to lend him a hand, so he gives her half of the fliers he has.

Seraphina finds a bulletin board devoid of fliers, and sets about changing that. Suddenly, she hears the unfriendly chuckling of some of the culprits behind the disappearance of the fliers. The two strangers see fit to mock the former ace for being the sort of weakling who would take interest in Safe House. They tell her she's cluttering up the bulletin board they helped clear, and warn her to remove the fliers. Seraphina defiantly slaps one on the board anyway, and tells the hostile creeps that she doesn't need to heed them when they can just steer clear of the club if they were against it. The smugly inform her that their orders to get rid of the fliers came directly from John, her former friend and the current King. Seraphina makes it clear that invoking John's name wasn't going to make her back down. In turn, they angrily tell her that acting tough won't make her any less weak, and order her to do as they say. She refuses. Thus, the two goons activate their abilities and rush Seraphina intending to strike her down. Even as they're doing so, she notices that they weren't moving any faster than she could. She decides to take the risk of fighting them off, and obstructs their vision by throwing all the fliers she has on her. Before the green-haired goon can process where she disappeared off to, Seraphina manages to circle around him and take him out with a neck chop and a blow to his spine. The blond bully decides that he can still win despite what he just saw and throws a punch. Seraphina parries it and notices that his poor stance has given her an opening. She kicks him to throw him off balance, and knocks him out with an elbow strike as he's falling. Seraphina looks at the two bullies and takes in the first victory she's had in a long while. But her chance to live in the moment is ever too brief.

Seraphina is punched back with incredible force by the direct superior of her previous two opponents...Zeke. Smug as ever, he tells her that she made a terrible mistake in defying the will of the King. He sees fit to "educate" Seraphina on the finer points of the hierarchy. When he lifts her up by the collar, she demands he let go. Zeke becomes so absorbed in boasting how her only hope for leniency is to mind her manners that Seraphina is able to kick him in the crotch without much difficulty. Zeke loses his grip and staggers in terrible pain, allowing Seraphina to make a break for the stairs. She vaults over the railing when she's halfway down and drops the rest of the way. She stumbles upon landing, an obvious sign that Zeke's first attack left her in poor condition. Realizing that she'll be done for should Zeke catch up to her, she tries to find an empty classroom to hide in. Unfortunately, the very pissed off Zeke manages to close in fast before she can find one. Luckily for Seraphina, she literally bumps into Blyke when she turns the next corner. She quickly brings him up to speed, and he gets ready to deal with the incoming godslayer. Brimming with confidence, Zeke tells Blyke that interfering with the work of the King's agents would be an act of treason. Instead of timidly backing down as Zeke expected, Blyke dares him to go ahead and report him to John. Blyke adds that he wants John to know that he said he could go f*ck himself.
