Summary[]
At his dorm, John prepares to head out when Blyke returns from the infirmary. He shares with John his frustrations about his defeat at Joker's hand. John says nothing, and leaves Blyke to reflect on his recent loss.
Later that day, John and Seraphina are enjoying boba drinks. Seraphina asks why she hasn't seem John during his free blocks, to which he replies he's being made to do extra work to make up for his dismal grades. John then brings up the bruises on Seraphina's face, and gets concerned when he learns she was in another fight after the kidnapping incident. She dismisses his concern, reminding him how he dismissed all of his past injuries the same way. She asks why it should be different for her.
