Summary[]
Blyke and Isen are walking down the school hallway, talking about meeting with Remi. Isen overhears someone talking about Zeke being found bloody and unconscious, and wonders if John could have been behind it.
Isen gets to the school press room. Everything is going as usual when Arlo arrives and creates a commotion by slamming down the article on Seraphina's ability loss and firing Cecile, making Isen the head of the school newspaper. Cecile attempts to challenge Arlo's authority using her ablity, but fails miserably. Arlo leaves, leaving Isen very confused. The chapter ends with Isen reaching Remi's dorm to meet with her and Blyke. Isen admits that he doesn't want the responsibility of being the leader of the school newspaper.
