Summary[]
Elaine receives a text from Arlo to meet him at Woaba Boba after school, to which she happily agrees. Once settled down, Arlo asks Elaine about Seraphina's condition and if her ability has returned. Elaine tells him no, and mentions how the school has found out about the situation through postings. They overhear a news broadcast on another Superhero's death at the hands of EMBER. Elaine remembers and tells him about finding Remi injured the previous Saturday night, and Arlo flashbacks to Remi's outbreak about EMBER, thinking that she could have gone after EMBER herself.
That night, John is in the dorm, recalling Arlo's words to him in the day telling him to fix Sera's situation.
