Seraphina
So we know how John always some inkling of his powers, but it wasn't until Claire that he could really master them. So what if...Sera's powers actually are back, but she doesn't know/remember how to activate them again.
I don't think we ever learned how characters learn and control their powers. So it could be that Sera's power level is at 1.001. It could be so weak that John cannot detect it.
Additionally, my thoughts is that either John will pull a Claire and reteach Sera how to control her powers.. maybe?? Either that or her sister Leilah comes into the picture soon
Just Updated
Who has noticed that her "kit" is usually referred to as Rewind. I know I have, for example in chapter 71, Arlo refers to her ability as Rewind. "And override her rewind", I know that the name Rewind was not capitalized, but you gotta agree with me, Rewind is a pretty cool name.
I know the stall guy was aiming at high tiers but out of all the other targets, would they choose Sera? Or do they go one by one slowly?
Feel free to put your thoughts down :D
Does anyone else think Seraphina's home is a bit... suspicious?
Re-reading the chapters in the Suspension and Project Partners arc lead me to make several strange observations.
1. When Seraphina first enters the house, despite its size and grandeur, it is spartanly barren. No furniture in the entrance hall, just windows and stairs.
2. Seraphina's bedroom sure is cool and she has a huge bed! Wait a second... What size is it exactly?
Inference: Is it a queen-sized bed? Are her parents trying to re-shape her back into the Queen of Wellston?
3. Her maid was spying on her from outside the room. This shows that either her parents don't trust her or they're just control freaks.
4. Everything, even their clothes, is minimalistic and geometrical. The design of everything is in coloured polygons, compared to Wellston, where it looks more natural.
5. The roof tiles are the same colour as their hair. Not really relevant, but interesting.
6. Seraphina's mother looks like a grown-up version of Jessie from Team Rocket. This was just for fun.
7. Although Seraphina said "the servants", we've only seen one servant so far, her maid. This could be because Seraphina stays in her room all day, but how big is this house exactly?
8. In Chapter 12, the shade of orange of the tracking person isn't the same as the Ability Gauge Vendor's, but what about Seraphina's maid?
Okay, it's not the same shade either, it's a bit pinker. Still, her maid seems a bit suspicious.
9. NXGen Research Facility was in bold, so it probably has some future significance. Seraphina's unnamed blue-eyed father is partners with them, so they're probably extremely powerful. What are they? Do they have any relation to EMBER?
10. Likewise, what does Seraphina's father do? He and Seraphina's mother seem to work together, but there's no obvious indication of their job other than that it pays well.
11. Seraphina's escort car has NO LICENSE PLATE. (Thanks to Bluehorse123) Very, very shady.
